Sometimes the key to find success each day is to get your morning started right, and that’s what Doe Deere, the founder of Lime Crime makes sure she does every day. Her day always starts at 8:30 AM, the time she’s always up without an alarm even. One of her first routines is taking part in stretching and exercising prior to making her own breakfast and it comes with a glass of water. Once that’s complete, she usually proceeds to her makeup and cosmetics process.
Doe Deere’s favorite makeups are True Match Foundation by L’Oreal and Studio Fix from MAC, but she also uses moisturizer from Murad. Using powder and then one of Lime Crime’s own Matte Velvetine lipsticks and blush, Doe Deere works in all the intricacies that go into her makeup job. You’ll usually hear her playing her favorite tunes coming from classic rock groups, and then checking her social media and live chat apps to check in on her coworkers. After spending some time with her two favorite cats, Doe Deere heads off to the office to get to work on ideas and hold meetings. Her day could last anywhere from 6 to 12 hours, but having her routine down makes everything go smoother for her.
Doe Deere is girl that believes everyone’s dream is tied to their personal interests and believes everyone should be able to live their life without worry about what others will think. Her company, Lime Crime was created not simply out of a desire to succeed in the cosmetics field, though it has done just that, but to bring products out that allow females to express themselves particularly in vivid colors. Lime crime’s been especially known for its hair dyes which have a wide range of colors from pink to light blue and teal colors.
Doe Deere is originally from Russia and her passion for creative design started with selling removable tattoos in small quantities. She moved to New York City at age 17 to attend college and start a band, and she nearly made that first dream come true but the band never quite made it to national recognition. Her second passion at school was cosmetics designs, and soon she had the idea to launch her own brand from eBay that soon gathered attention. After selling a few test products successfully, Dod Deere decided to continue with it and soon Lime Crime became its own company, and Deere relocated it to Los Angeles where it’s become a hit.
